Answers for the little things between you and your next stop.
Find an answer ↓How do I get started?
Open the México journey and start Sofía’s introductory lesson. The free preview includes the introductory lesson, a practice question, and two scans. The full journey and additional scans require an in-app purchase.
The scanner captures the whole receipt. Can I choose just the total?
The current iOS receipt scanner detects the document, rather than a custom total-only region. Capture one receipt, tap Save, and review the suggested total. Manual entry is always available.
What if a scan is blurry or the amount is wrong?
Clean the lens, use even lighting, and hold the phone steady. Move back if the text is out of focus. Review every scan result before using it; do not use an incorrect suggestion. Enter the amount manually when needed.
How do I enable the camera?
Open iPhone or iPad Settings, find CurrencyQuest, and enable Camera. Camera access is only needed for scanning; you can use lessons and manual entry without it.
Does the app process payments or verify banknotes?
No. CurrencyQuest is a learning tool and cash calculator. It does not send money, process a purchase at a merchant, or certify that a banknote is genuine.
Can I use it offline?
Bundled lessons and saved learning progress work offline. Purchase and restore operations, and reference-rate updates, require internet access. USD conversions are estimates—not guaranteed exchange quotes.
How do I restore a purchase?
Use the app’s Restore Purchases option while signed in to the Apple account used for the purchase and connected to the internet. If access does not return, send support your app version and product details. Never send payment card details.
How do I manage billing?
Apple manages App Store billing. Review your subscriptions in your Apple account settings. For refund requests, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Product prices and terms are shown before purchase.
How do I reset my progress?
Use the reset-progress control in app Settings and confirm the prompt. This deletes your local learning progress; it does not cancel an Apple subscription.
